Cole Valley in the house!

Welcome Cole-Valley.com to the list of neighborhood sites running at Home San Francisco. Cole Valley is home to some of my favorite places in San Francisco.

Located to the south of Haight Ashbury and east of the Inner Sunset, Cole Valley is lined with single family homes, multi unit buildings, cafes, restaurants and botique shops. Muni service makes it easy get downtown and the neighborhood is centrally located in San Francisco -- close to everything -- sort of.

My highlights:
Kezar Stadium - Technically it's not located in Cole Valley - but i'm counting it. Historic downtown stadium is still host to a 49'er summer practice and a variety of high school athletic events, including everyone's favorite, St Ignatius College Prep lacrosse. Not to be missed is the annual SI vs University battle for San Francisco bragging rights.

Kezar Bar & Restaurant - not to be confused with Kezar Pub on Shrader - this bar and restaurant serves great food at reasonable prices - the beer is tasty too!

Eos - Best chocolate souflee in the city

You also can't miss Burgermeister, Finnegan's Wake, Crepes on Cole or Say Cheese.

Here are my favorite homes currently on the market in Cole Valley

282 Cole St - Great addition that captures light and views and blends nicely with existing structure. Terrific outdoor area's and master suite.

1580 Masonic - Price tag is steep, especially without big views, but I love the house and the decks and peaceul yard. Tons of space and light - a great home.
